Snowbunny-I just can't...

  -This is chapter 4-

Fionna quickly got out of her sleeping bag,got dressed and then she rushed out of her tree home. Without thinking,she started running towards the Ice Kingdom. She needed to get away from Cake...she just had to. Cake had been watching her to the extent where it was to much to handle. Ever since Fionna had come home late last week,the cat had been asking never ending questions,demanding to know where she had been. Fionna knew that if she told Cake about where she was,she wouldn't be happy.
  It was very early in the morning--literally,the sun was barely up yet. The little bunny girl honestly had no idea how she was able to wake up this early. As she ran to the Ice Kingdom,she thought of why she was honestly doing this. Yesterday,she had kissed the Ice Queen on the lips but....that was just out of complete happiness--right? Yeah that must have been it...she was just really excited about the new sword that the queen had given to her as a late birthday gift--she hadn't completely thought of a way to thank her.
  When Fionna reached the Ice Kingdom,she dropped down onto the snow and tried to catch her breath. The cold air stung her throat,but she didn't care. She felt wet and cold,but she stayed the way that she was for another few minutes and then she got up.
  Fionna ran towards the Ice Queens room and quietly walked in. The queen was sleeping peacefully in her bed,and Gertrude was passed out in the cell-library with dozens of books littered on the floor around her. Fionna scanned the room,looking for her shirt,which the queen had taken from her last week,in exchange for the sweater that was made for Fionna.
  Her shirt was nowhere in plain sight,and Fionna doubted that the queen would hide it or anything. Fionna had a small thought of where it could be...be she doubted it. As quietly as she could,she slowly walked over to the Ice Queen's bed and carefully lifted her covers away from her body. There it was. Fionna's shirt was being held tightly in the Ice Queen's arms. The fact that the queen was actually sleeping-cuddling Fionna's shirt made a small shiver go down her spine.
  "What are you doing here?," The queen groggily asked.
  Fionna jumped back in surprise.
  "U-uh..," Fionna stammered.
  The queen dropped back onto her bed and then she patted the empty spot that was next to her,which was her way of inviting Fionna to sit next to her.  Fionna quickly shook her head disapprovingly. The queen frowned.
  "I'm not here to sleep with you--," Coming out of her mouth,it sounded a lot worse than Fionna had originally thought.
  "Who said anything about sleeping together?I was only inviting you to sit next to me."
  The way that the queen said it made Fionna certain that she was lying.
"liar," Fionna grumbled.
  The queen got out of bed,not letting go of Fionna's shirt. Fionna cautiously took a step back.
"Look,I came here to talk," Fionna warned.
"What about?," Sighed the queen.
"Cake's getting suspicious,and I don't even know what to tell her...what are we to each other now?"
  After a few moments,the queen just shrugged. Fionna was starting to lose her temper.
"I guess we're friends with benefits?"
"...I don't even know what that means," Fionna quietly stated.
  The queen smirked. She loved how clueless and innocent the little bunny girl could be at times.
"Oh details,details," The queen dismissively said.
  Fionna tried to snatch her shirt from the queen's grip,but the Ice Queen grabbed her arm and pulled the young bunny girl into an embrace.
"How about we explore the icy tundra's?," The queen quietly asked.
"Why?," Fionna confusingly asked.
"Why not call it out first date?" The queen winked at Fionna and then went to find her dress. Fionna could feel her face becoming warmer. She quickly shook away the feeling and walked outside with the queen.
  Surprisingly,Fionna allowed the Ice Queen to hold her hand as they explored the icy tundra's of her kingdom. The queen showed Fionna the various ice sculptures that she made in her free time (Fionna wasn't really that surprised that most of the sculptures were female nude models),the cave of musical icicles,and of course her favorite;the icy bathhouse.
  "Fionna?"
"Wha--"
  The queen pulled Fionna in for a kiss and a few moments later,her tongue was fighting Fionna's for dominance. The young bunny girl made a quick noise of protest,but she quickly gave in. As they parted from the kiss to breathe,they dropped down onto the snow.
"..I think I should get going now," Said Fionna.
  The queen sighed.
"you'll come back,right?"
Fionna smiled and walked back home.
  
As she plopped herself onto the couch,Cake worriedly stared at her.
"Where were you,Fi?," Cake asked.
"Nowhere..," Fionna replied.
"Fionna...why are you lying to me?"
"Don't worry about it,Cake."
  Cake sighed and left Fionna alone.
  "I can't tell you..," Fionna said under her breath. "I just can't.."
