DawnXCynthia- Memories

Dawn stood behind the tree,in shock. Caitlin was kissing Cynthia on the night of her 17th birthday. When they parted from the kiss,Cynthia noticed Dawn behind the tree and she stood there with a shocked expression on her face. Dawn slowly stepped back from the tree and then quickly ran away. Cynthia was about to shout Dawns name,but she remained quiet. Caitlin hugged Cynthia. "I love you...I hope that you feel the same," said Caitlin. Cynthia didn't bother saying anything,she just got up and walked Caitlin home. Cynthia stood outside of Dawns house,waiting for her to come outside onto the terrace. After awhile,Cynthia was about to give up,but then she heard a door shut above her. Dawn sighed and stared at the full moon. "Idiots," she said to herself. Cynthia climbed a tree and stared at Dawn. "H-hey..," Cynthia said nervously. Dawn just glared at her. Dawn turned around and was about to shut the door. "w-wait!,"Cynthia yelled. Dawn turned around. "Dawn...I never planned for any of this to happen--I wish that none of this had happened!" "why didn't you pull away from Caitlin's kiss?,why!,"Dawn yelled. "T-that was.. Well it's obvious that your in love with Ash!" Dawn was about to yell,but she just turned around and slammed her door shut.
  "Damn,"Cynthia said under her breath. She walked back to the lake and she sunk herself onto the grass once again. She closed her eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep. When she opened her eyes,Caitlin was resting on her lap. "..Caitlin? When did you get here?," Cynthia groggily asked. Caitlin opened her eyes and kissed Cynthia. "Good morning," Caitlin softly said as she yawned. "Caitlin..I don't love you,don't waste your kisses on me.." Caitlin ignored Cynthia and kissed her again. "I love you,and I always will. I have the feeling that you love me a bit,too." Cynthia sighed and turned her body away from Caitlin. Caitlin began to pout. That's when she remembered something. She leaned in closer to Cynthia's ear and blew into it. Cynthia immediately sat up in alarm. Caitlin had a huge smile on her face.
  "C--Caitlin!" Caitlin couldn't help but chuckle. "looks like your still the same after all these years," Caitlin calmly said. Cynthia sighed. "why wont you just admit it?" "admit what?," Cynthia asked. "That you like me,you used to say it a lot when we were younger." "what are you talking about?" Caitlin frowned. "Don't tell me that you forgot about our first kiss.." Cynthia's face started to turn red. Cynthia remembered that day as if it were yesterday.
  It was 12 years ago,Cynthia was 8 years old while Caitlin was 7 years old at the time. Caitlin ended up taking a nap outside in the school field and it started to rain,which woke her up. Cynthia was walking by with an umbrella in her hand when she saw Caitlin crying in the middle of the storm. Cynthia walked over to Caitlin and put the umbrella over her head. "Come on,let's find a place to keep you dry," Cynthia calmly said. They walked over to the gym equipment storage room and went inside. Caitlin's face was all muddy and she was shivering. Cynthia kneeled down and wiped Caitlin's face with a handkerchief. "Man...what am I going to do with you? You take naps in the worst possible times,". Cynthia frustratingly said. "Why are you helping me?," Caitlin asked. "Your my friend you know,friends help each other."
  Caitlin's face turned red. She had a lot of friends,but none of them were like Cynthia. Cynthia was a loner with no friends,but somehow Caitlin managed to become her friend.  Cynthia got up and tried opening the door. It was locked. Cynthia sighed and sat down next to Caitlin. "We're stuck here until someone can find us." Caitlin was shivering and was about to cry again. Cynthia threw her gym clothes at Caitlin and turned around. "Change into those so you don't get sick." Caitlin did as she was told. They sat together in complete silence for awhile until Caitlin finally spoke. "Cynthia,do you have a boyfriend?" Cynthia stared at her. "No,I don't like anyone." "Don't you like me?," Caitlin asked. "Of course I do." "Then can I be your boyfriend?" Cynthia stared at her. "No,your a girl so you can't be my boyfriend." "Then can I be your girlfriend?" "I guess." Caitlin had a huge smile on her face. " Yay! I'm Cynthia's girlfriend!" Caitlin leaned in and kissed Cynthia. When they parted from the kiss Cynthia said,"What are you doing?" "Mama and Papa do this all the time,they do it because they love each other. I love you." Cynthia's face was red. "I-I love you to.." "Cynthia leaned in and kissed Caitlin.

*Now back to the present time..*

  "I remember.." Caitlin smiled. "So,do you still love me?" Cynthia was about to say no,but then she saw Ash holding Dawns hand as they were walking towards where Cynthia and Caitlin were. "..I do," Cynthia lied. She leaned in and kissed Caitlin. Dawn and Ash looked over to where Cynthia and Caitlin were. Dawn felt a pain in her chest. She kissed Ash. Her kiss with Ash felt bitter compared to the sweet kisses she had with Cynthia. Dawn wanted Cynthia back,but she could never admit to that.
